1 box of 50 Bionova® Biological Indicator
Biological Indicator for Ethylene Oxide sterilization
Composition: Each tube contains a population of spores of Bacillus atrophaeus ATCC 9372 soaked on a carrier. It also has a growth indicator medium contained within the glass ampoule.
Product description: Bionova® BT10 Biological Indicator is specifically designed for monitoring Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization processes. If the sterilization process has not been successful, the indicator medium will turn to yellow after incubation at 37 ± 2 °C, thus indicating the presence of living Bacillus atrophaeus spores. If the sterilization process has been successful, the indicator medium will remain the original color after incubation. The final readout should be performed after 48 hours of incubation at 37 ± 2 °C. If the medium is clear – your load was sterile.
